Japan Cat Network Funds

Organized by Sylvia Hatsutani

We need help for various funds.

Until further notice, this ChipIn will be our source for funding our activities, rescue missions, rent, etc.

We have two shelters - the Shiga shelter that is solely run by David while he works a full time job to support it, and our wonderful volunteer Carol. The Inawashiro base that is run by Susan, Selena and the wonderful volunteers that can make it out there. The Shiga shelter houses many rescues from the Tohoku disater, and the rescue and feeding missions in Fukushima are run from the Inawashiro base.

From the time of the disaster, JCN has rescued almost 400 animals. JCN is also the only group that has government permission to enter the restricted zone outside of the 20km zone to feed the abandoned animals. This requires travel as well as almost 100kg of food to make all of the drops at the feeding stations that were set up with the help of our wonderful supporters.

We have not given up on these animals that have no one else to turn to. Any support that we get from you is greatly appreciated, and you have our promise that the only ones that will benefit from it will be the animals in need.
